For Pediatric Practices

Pediatric dental software that keeps up as kids grow.

AveoDent is built with Dr. Kali, a pediatric dentist and our co-founder. Baby teeth, mixed dentition, behavior ratings and the parent who gets every text, form and bill are not add-ons here. They are how the product works.

Try the real chart below, not a screenshot. Step through a child's mouth from age 4 to 13.

For the front office

Three kids. One trip to the dentist.

Three kids, ages 9, 6 and 4: pick the family, check the kids, and AveoDent finds three chairs side by side at the same time. One tap books them all.

For the clinical team

Watch a mouth change.

For the front office

Every child comes with a parent.

Reminders go to the parent

Appointment and recall reminders for a child go to the parent on the family account, in the parent’s preferred language, not to whatever number was typed into the child’s chart. Siblings booked the same day get one text, not three. If a parent opts out, AveoDent does not text the child instead.

A parent signs, not the child

A consent form for a patient under 18 goes to the parent’s phone. Signed in the office, it records the adult’s name and relationship to the child, and a child cannot sign for themselves. Printed forms carry a parent or guardian signature line.

Bills go to the responsible adult

Statements and payment links for a child go to the adult responsible for the family. If there is no verified adult on file, the bill is held and listed on a report for your front desk instead of going to a child.

Families pay from their phone

Text a payment link from the billing screen. The family taps it, pays by card on a secure checkout, and the payment posts to the ledger on its own. No calls, no card numbers read over the phone.

Families in their own language

Texts go out in the family’s preferred language, and replies come back with an English translation for your team. Printed consent forms show the family’s language beside English.

For the clinical team

When the adult tooth beats the baby tooth out.

The adult tooth is in but the baby tooth hasn’t come out: both go on the chart, and one more tap when the baby tooth is gone.

For the clinical team

Built for how a pediatric office runs.

Primary, mixed and permanent on one chart

Switch the chart between Primary, Current and Permanent. Current is the child’s actual mouth: a letter where the baby tooth is still in, a number where the adult tooth has come in, and the teeth still on the way drawn faint in their place. Patients under 15 open on the primary chart; once you chart a tooth coming in, the chart opens on their current mouth.

One click when a tooth comes in

Select the baby tooth and mark the permanent tooth erupted, or mark it lost before its successor is in. If the adult tooth comes in while the baby tooth is still there, chart both: they sit side by side in the same spot until the baby tooth comes out. Every change has an Undo. Complete an extraction on a baby tooth and the chart updates itself.

Pediatric procedures one tap away

Quick actions for Child Exam (D0120, D1120), Sealant (D1351), Stainless Steel Crown (D2930) and Pulpotomy (D3220). Put an adult crown code on a baby tooth and AveoDent stops to ask whether you meant a stainless steel crown.

Behavior rating at every visit

After you sign the note, rate the visit on the Frankl scale, 1 (definitely negative) to 4 (definitely positive), with optional notes on what the child did, the triggers, what you tried and whether it helped. The latest rating shows on the patient’s overview and in the morning huddle, so the whole team walks in knowing how the last visit went.

Switching from your current system

Your patients, families, appointments, charts, balances, documents and x-rays come over from your current system's exports. We run a preview first that writes nothing, then show you a report comparing your old system's totals with what landed. We go through balances and family links with you before go-live.

How a migration works, step by step

What we don’t do yet

Honest about the edges.

Tell us what your office needs on the demo call. We would rather lose a deal than sell you something we have not built.

  • Universal numbering only: letters A to T and numbers 1 to 32. No FDI or Palmer.
  • Sedation monitoring is out of scope. Record it in your notes; we will not pretend to be a monitor.
  • Full in-house ortho case management. We track referrals and basic ortho; dedicated ortho systems win for full cases.
  • Parents see and pay their children’s balances in the patient portal, but not yet their appointments or treatment plans.

See it on a real pediatric chart.
