Terms of Service

These Terms of Service govern your use of the Aveo Dental platform and website. By accessing or using the service, you agree to be bound by these terms.

1. Eligibility

The Service is intended for licensed dental professionals and their authorized staff. By using the Service, you represent that you have the legal authority to enter into these Terms on behalf of your dental practice or organization.

2. Account Registration

To use certain features of the Service, you must create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service infrastructure
  • Share account credentials with unauthorized individuals
  • Use the Service in violation of HIPAA or other healthcare regulations

4. HIPAA Compliance

Aveo Dental operates as a Business Associate under HIPAA. We will execute a Business Associate Agreement (BAA) with each covered entity customer. Both parties agree to comply with applicable HIPAA regulations regarding the use and disclosure of Protected Health Information (PHI).

5. Data Ownership

You retain ownership of all data you input into the Service, including patient records and practice data. We do not claim ownership of your data. We use your data only to provide and improve the Service as described in our Privacy Policy.

6. Service Availability

We strive to maintain high availability of the Service but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may perform scheduled maintenance and will provide reasonable notice when possible. We are not liable for any downtime or service interruptions.

7. Payment Terms

Paid subscriptions are billed according to the plan selected. All fees are non-refundable except as required by law. We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Aveo Dental shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim.

9. Termination

Either party may terminate the Service agreement with 30 days' written notice. Upon termination, we will provide you with a reasonable period to export your data. We may immediately suspend access if you violate these Terms.

10. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of material changes at least 30 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

11. SMS/Text Messaging

By providing your phone number and opting in, you consent to receive SMS (text) messages from Aveo Dental and participating dental practices using the Aveo platform.

  • Message types include: appointment reminders, account alerts, and customer support communications.
  • You may opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message. Reply HELP for assistance.
  • Standard message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier and plan.
  • Aveo Dental is not responsible for any charges from your mobile carrier related to SMS messages.
  • We reserve the right to modify or discontinue SMS features at any time with reasonable notice.
  • Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
